Integrations Engineer
About us
Workstation helps enterprises safely step into the AI-enabled future by unifying fragmented data and empowering employees to use LLMs with confidence. We serve data-driven businesses where collaboration is imperative and public tooling may not be an option.
We’re building the first desktop client designed to manage end-to-end AI workflows: from data sourcing, to collaborative analysis, to final deliverables. Our app transforms how non-technical employees can benefit from common AI tools while safely using enterprise data without risk of accidental leakage.
The founding team at Workstation has a total of 4 exits between them, and raised over $100M of venture capital. Precursor Ventures, 8-Bit Capital, and Nomo Ventures, as well as a handful of operator-angels with domain expertise are first-check investors in Dash.
About the role
We're looking for an Integrations Engineer to lead the development of our proprietary data integrations and modeling layer, enabling users to interact directly with data sources and collaboratively analyze information to make decisions. This is a hands-on, high-impact customer-facing role that blends engineering excellence with application understanding.
You'll work closely with customers to integrate complex enterprise data, support pilots and demos, and build scalable pipelines that power our product. This is a central engineering role with a chance to own and scale the core data layer of our platform, from customer need to GA deployed code, establishing repeatable patterns that benefit every customer. You will be a trusted business partner for our customers’ leadership and stakeholders to ensure our application’s successful deployment and scale.
What you'll do
Lead data integrations across diverse customer systems, from ERPs to custom APIs
Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines and data models that map messy enterprise schemas into usable formats
Collaborate directly with customer stakeholders (technical and non-technical) to understand needs and demonstrate impact
Build tooling and infrastructure to make data onboarding repeatable, observable, and self-service over time
Contribute to overall product direction, particularly in how data is used, transformed, and presented to users
Work alongside founders and designers in a fast-paced, high-trust environment
About you
You thrive in ambiguous, high-ownership environments and enjoy turning messy real-world data into clean, usable systems
You're comfortable in front of customers, translating business needs into technical solutions and explaining your approach with clarity
You’ve built enterprise data integrations in real-world systems
You have strong experience with data modeling, ETL design, and API integrations
You bring both technical depth and product intuition to your work
You move fast, communicate clearly, and care deeply about quality
You have a high level of ownership and have a bias for action
Technical expertise
5+ years of professional software engineering or data engineering experience
Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js, Python
Familiarity with SQL, REST APIs, and common data formats (JSON, CSV, XML)
Bonus: experience with desktop app development (e.g., Electron), LLM APIs, or regulated data environments
Applying & process
To apply, please email your resume with a link to any project you are proud of building to work@workstation.ai. If there appears to be a fit, we'll reach out for a quick 15-minute screen, and then schedule two calls with our founding team. The final step is an onsite in our office, where you'll work on a small project, discuss ideas, and meet the team.
